Do you want to help The Purring Journal to help cats in need? Vote for Maggie May to win America’s Favorite Pet! Let us explain.

Our very own Maggie, Advertising Manager of The Purring Journal, is a contestant for America’s Favorite Pet. If Maggie wins, she will land on the cover of Catster Magazine and receive $5,000.

Winning would help tremendously because the cash prize would go towards improving the quality of this blog and helping cats in need.

Ever since launching, we have worked endlessly to create this website and build an audience. However, as a new blog, this work does not come without challenges.

The main caveat is that running a blog is not free, and we have plans that require a larger budget.

First, we want to improve the user-experience on this site by adding advanced features that our audience deserves. Most importantly, we also want to add a store that raises money for cats.

At The Purring Journal, our main goal is to provide readers with cat-related content that educates and entertains. However, as cat lovers, we also want to give back to the cat community by helping those in need.

For this reason, we envision this blog including a cat store. At this store, a portion of each proceed would be donated to organizations that help cats.

Aside from making our dreams come true, we also want Maggie to win America’s Favorite Pet because she has an inspiring story that deserves to be heard. Before we adopted her, she was a cat in need!
