It seems like there’s a Facebook group for just about anything. This is great news for cat enthusiasts, because that means there are plenty of cat groups to join. With that said, I’ve gathered a list of 10 “purrfect” cat groups (in no particular order) that will make feline lovers happy.

1. The Ginger Cat Gang

Members: 75.3K

This is a purrfect group for anyone with a ginger cat (a cat with an orange coat). Members regularly post pictures and videos of their gingers. However, if you don’t have a ginger cat, don’t let that discourage you from joining. This group accepts all cat lovers, regardless of their furbaby’s coat color.

2. The Black Cat Appreciation Group

Members: 103.9K

Sadly, black cats are often misassociated with bad luck. Anyone who has ever met a black cat knows that this superstition couldn’t be further from the truth. But rest assured that these group members know how lucky they are to have a black cat in their life. You can expect to see tons of adorable photos and stories.

3. Cat Lovers

Members: 191.4K

This cat group is for all feline lovers and breeds. According to the group’s description, Cat Lovers is a place to share lovely, funny, and mischievous cat moments with photos. Capture your cat doing something mischievous and share it with fellow cat lovers.

4. Love Cats

Members: 277.6K

This group’s straight-forward name speaks for itself. Members of Love Cats are encouraged to share pictures and videos of their cats. Tips and advice are also regularly posted among this cat-loving community. At the time of writing this post, Love Cats has the heftiest membership number on this list.

5. Cats Group

Members: 60.0K

Cats Group, according to their description, is “dedicated to all crazy cat people and the cats that own them.” This group offers members an opportunity to meet fellow cat-loving friends. Cats Group also has a help and support section for cat-related issues in their group files.

7. Just Cat Things

Members: `197.1K

Just Cat Things is just that; a group for all cat things! This is yet another pawsome group to see plenty of cat photos, videos, and memes. You can expect to regularly scroll through lots of kitty cuteness if you join this community.

8. I Heart Maine Coons

Members: 79.0K

The first rule in this group’s rule list is that all posts must be Maine Coon-related, making it the purrfect place for fans of this breed. While this group welcomes all members (whether their cat was adopted or purchased), it tolerates no cat or kitten sales posts to prevent the group from becoming a breeding sales page.

9. Crazy About Cats

Members: 77.8K

This group acknowledges that cats “bring joy to everyone’s life.” With this in mind, Crazy About Cats strives to be a place where members can go to see joyful posts about cats. What more could a cat enthusiast ask for?

10. Cats Make Me Happy

Members: 233.1K

Cat parents will get a chuckle out of this group’s slogan: “Cats make me happy; you, not so much.” This is yet another fun group to see and share cat photos and videos. Or, to simply spark conversations about cats. Members of this group clearly know where happiness stems from!

There Are More Cat Groups

There are numerous other cat groups on Facebook besides the ones on this list. I simply started with ten groups that either I personally like, or see that a lot of other cat lovers enjoy. In the future, I plan on writing about more purrfect cat groups to join.

Do you know 10 other purrfect cat groups that should be featured? Let me know in the comments below.
